Known as the rainbow nation, South Africa is a country with nine provinces and eleven official languages. This country is as diverse in people groups as it is in terrain. The South African people are some of the most gracious, warm, and generous people in the world- however, though the government-sponsored racism of apartheid is over, this country still remains deeply scarred. If Christ's healing hand is brought to the broken-hearted people of South Africa, they can permeate the nations of Africa with HIS message of hope and love.

Be a pioneer! Travel with BWO to the Cape Town region of South Africa, where we'll be pioneering a new ministry with author and church planter, Floyd McClung.

We'll be focusing on the urban settlement of Ocean View, where over 30,000 colorful, multi-ethnic people suffer under a heavy spirit of hopelessness, brought on by a 70% unemployment rate, high levels of child abuse, and poverty.

We're working to change that. We're bringing the love of Christ through evangelism, construction teams, medical clinics, youth and children's outreach, mentoring, and even cosmetology. We will show these beautiful people that they have meaning and that Christ loved them first. The only thing you need is willingness and a heart to serve.
